Every year, exporters lose time and money when consignments are held at destination ports because the packaging or cargo was not treated correctly. Our export fumigation services prevent this. As a government-licensed fumigation operator (ISPM-15 licence IN-679 MB, heat treatment IN-469 HT), Hemant Wooden Packaging treats your cargo, wood packaging and containers before shipment. We then issue the export fumigation certificate that customs, buyers and banks ask for.

Export fumigation is the treatment of goods, wood packaging or containers with a fumigant before shipment, so the consignment meets the plant quarantine rules of the importing country. It ends with a fumigation certificate that goes with the export documents.
Agricultural products such as rice, pulses, spices, seeds and cotton, and any goods packed with solid wooden pallets, crates, boxes or dunnage. Engineering goods, furniture, handicrafts and textiles shipped on wooden pallets also need treated packaging.
Book at least 2 days before the container cut-off. Methyl bromide needs a 24-hour exposure plus aeration, and the certificate is issued after clearance.
