A chemically treated pallet for export is a wooden pallet that has been fumigated with methyl bromide (MB) under ISPM 15 and stamped with the IPPC mark. Hemant Wooden Packaging holds government fumigation licence IN-679 MB. We fumigate new and used pallets, mark each one and issue a fumigation certificate for your shipment.
Many buyers search for "chemically treated pallets" when they actually need ISPM 15 compliant pallets. Note the difference:

| Need | Best option |
|---|---|
| Pallets already loaded with goods | Chemically treated (MB) – fumigate in the container |
| New pallets for a regular export programme | Heat treated pallets (HT) |
| Destination restricts methyl bromide | Heat treated pallets (HT) |
| Urgent lot, small quantity | Chemically treated (MB) under sheet |

In export packaging, a chemically treated pallet is a wooden pallet that has been fumigated with methyl bromide under ISPM 15 and marked with the IPPC MB stamp. Methyl bromide is the chemical treatment approved by ISPM 15.
No. Pressure-treating or painting pallets with preservatives such as CCA is not an approved ISPM 15 treatment. For export, wood packaging must be heat treated (HT) or methyl bromide fumigated (MB) and marked.
They carry the IPPC logo with IN (India), the treatment provider's number and MB. Our chemically treated pallets are marked IN-679 MB.
Both are valid. Heat treated pallets are accepted in every ISPM 15 country and have no chemical history. Chemically treated (MB) pallets are useful when packaging is already built or loaded, but some countries restrict methyl bromide.
